UNIL Lausanne: AI Rules for Students
It depends on your teacher and faculty. The University of Lausanne's FAQ says that if your teacher has not explicitly allowed an AI tool, you should assume it is not allowed and ask when in doubt. If it is allowed, declare which tool you used and for what. HEC master's students also submit a separate disclosure form.

What you have to do
Ask your supervisor before you start writing and keep a short log of every AI use (tool, date, task, what you kept). The declaration is much easier to fill in from a log than from memory.
If AI is allowed, declare it; the FAQ suggests the methods section or a footnote. HEC MSc students also submit the HEC form at least two weeks before the defence. The HEC form does not apply to other faculties.
