VerdictPal is built by a small team of students in Switzerland, not an automated AI-tool scrape. We start with researchers because source discipline, budget awareness, and privacy boundaries matter most when AI becomes part of learning.

Every tool is written by people who use these tools in real coursework and research. We label evidence in public, show checked dates, and publish failure modes vendors would rather hide. How we test.

No-tracking pledge

Public content does not require an account, invasive analytics, ad retargeting, session replay, or cross-site tracking. Anyone can read every tool without identifying themselves. Read the privacy page.

Editorial independence

Affiliate links may appear when they are disclosed on the tool dossier. Sponsors and referral partners cannot influence verdicts, scores, or failure modes. The atlas is free for everyone and optionally The Pack and future sealed research drops.

Why an atlas of tools and models? Because AI tools change faster than articles can keep up, but the underlying research workflow does not. VerdictPal documents the workflow first and labels tools by how well they serve it. Tools make change visible: when a dossier moves from Solid to Lightweight, you can see it.
